The Houses
In Hawthorne we mostly see apartments first, with postwar houses only a quarter of homes.
Weather and Season
Marine air sits over the city on gray May and June mornings, and unprotected steel slowly rusts through in it. With the Newport-Inglewood Fault just east, it also pays to look at masonry after any good shake. Wildfire has not been a concern inside town.
Same Drive
El Segundo, Inglewood, Lennox sit on the same stretch of road, so a visit there often shares the day with Hawthorne.
The Report
You get photos and a plain-language write-up of your Hawthorne chimney before any repair is planned.
