Weather and Season
Inland of the coast, salt is a small concern, and big weather swings belong to the far inland valleys. Anyone with an old fireplace should still know the area shook in the 1987 Whittier Narrows quake, and winter rain will find a cracked crown.
Same Drive
Walnut Park, Florence, Bell sit on the same stretch of road, so a visit there often shares the day with Vernon.

You get photos and a plain-language write-up of your Vernon chimney before any repair is planned.
